About SWC!

The ICFAI University, IUD is currently emerging as a leading University in the private sector of the country. ICFAI has a rich history of providing high quality education and training to students. Apart from laying emphasis on good academics and advanced research, the institute has left no stone unturned to strengthen itself in terms of infrastructure, administration and student affairs. Welfare of the students goes hand in hand with academics in any prospering institution. Culture prevalent in IUD is largely cosmopolitan in nature and a unique synergy exists among the students irrespective of their branch and curricular diversity. Keeping in view of the above the IUD has constituted a Student Welfare Committee by involving Faculty members and students of all of its constituent colleges. The committee shall hereafter be referred as SWC.

OBJECTIVE of SWC

To conduct and develop all round extra-curricular activities to supplement education;

To present opportunities for personal and leadership development;

To express students’ views and to represent them wherever relevant;

To share responsibilities, individually and collectively, for the conduct of campus life and to be active partners in the conduct of Institute affairs;

 And To advance general welfare of the student community.
